Reporting into the Associate Director, as the Senior Risk Advisor you will be mainly responsible for the following duties:

• Analyse data to provide advice on risks and their impact on strategic and operational objectives.
• Support business continuity planning and risk maturity assessments.
• Prepare reports for the Audit and Risk Committee.
• Lead and deliver key risk and compliance projects aligned with the enterprise risk management framework.
• Provide clear, insightful risk analysis and reporting, including dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Improve risk management processes, tools, and templates, and support staff in their effective application.
• Maintain and enhance the risk and compliance system (Protecht), including register design and reporting.

You….
To be successful in this Senior Risk Advisor role, you must have experience in the following areas:

• 2+ years' experience in a senior risk role within the public sector.
• Tertiary qualifications and strong experience in project, risk, and compliance management.
• Proven knowledge of financial and reputational risk strategies.
• Ability to interpret legislation and navigate government policies and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders.
