About the Role:

As an Allied Health Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of our Allied Health Services Team, playing a vital role in creating a positive experience for every client, member, and patron.

You will deliver professional, friendly, and attentive service while assisting with general enquiries. You’ll also work closely with our Exercise Physiologists and Wellness Team to support high-quality care and help people feel confident, valued, and supported throughout their journey.

In this customer-focused role, you’ll manage membership and program enquiries, process transactions, and respond with warmth and empathy across all services and programs with our organisation. Your proactive approach, ability to work independently, and confidence in managing a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering exceptional service.

We currently have two permanent part time vacancies available, please see roster below:

Vacancy 1:

Monday: 5.15am - 1.45pm
Tuesday: 5.15am - 1.30pm
Wednesday: 5.15am - 1.30pm

Vacancy 2:

Monday: 1.00pm - 7.00pm
Tuesday: 1.00pm - 7.00pm

Essential criteria

  • Extensive experience in an administrative based role
  • A Current First Aid Certificate
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated customer service experience within a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal organisation, including the ability to manage workflows, meet regular deadlines and work effectively under pressure

Commencing salary: $30.90 / per hour, plus 12% Superannuation.

This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.

You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
