About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Coffs Doctors' in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This is a full time or part-time position, offering a flexible work environment within our welcoming and supportive medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and courteous manner

Scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and maintaining accurate records

Answering incoming phone calls and providing assistance to patients as needed

Handling patient inquiries, payments, and other administrative duties

Ensuring the reception area is well-organised and presentable at all times

Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a healthcare setting is preferred or in a similar customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Proficiency in using medical practice management software and computer systems

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

A team player who is adaptable and willing to learn
