We are currently seeking applications for an Executive Officer to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period up to 2 years.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range $98,478 – $104,165 p.a.
About the opportunity:
The Executive Officer is responsible for the preparation and review of high-level documentation for the Deputy Director, Internal Operations and Governance, including Director and Executive Director, OCIO. The role has the specific function of executive support for the SA Government’s peak across-government ICT governance committees, the Chief Information Officer Steering Committee, including the coordination of activities arising from those groups. The role is also responsible for the management of communication between stakeholders, other government departments, other jurisdictions, chief executive offices, ministerial offices and key outside entities on behalf of OCIO.
About you
To be successful you will:
Manage the effective and efficient flow of information and communication between OCIO: Directors, Executive Director, Under Treasurer’s (UT) and Treasurer’s Office.
Provide professional management and effective executive officer support to the government’s peak ICT governance committees, such as the Chief Information Officer Steering Committee.
Coordinate information across OCIO by ensuring that written material provided by directorates meets quality standards and is in accordance with departmental, Cabinet, UT and Ministerial standards and formats prior to consideration.
Provide a range of high-level project, policy, assessment and management support services in relation to business ICT.
Develop and maintain networks and relationships across OCIO and other government agencies particularly within DTF, but specifically with the UT’s and Treasurer’s Office.
Ensure consistency across a large number of departmental and government policies and procedures.
