We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our Townsville Branch administrative team as an Office Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including general reception duties, administrative support, support and coordination for the branch personnel, support to the Senior Office Administrator and Townsville Branch Manager.

Bonlec Pty Ltd is an independent, privately owned North & Central Queensland Company combining the Sales, Engineering & Installation of Building & Energy Management Systems with an extensive Electrical Department & Switchboard Manufacturing Section. This combination allows Bonlec to offer customers a complete solution for their building operational needs whilst ensuring their sites achieve the best efficiencies possible. We supply basic breakdown type service through to complete supply and installation work for the Commercial and Industrial Sector of the Electrical Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform general reception and administrative duties with professionalism.
· Handle customer interactions, both answering the phone and in person, with excellent communication skills.
· Provide day-to-day support to branch staff and ensure smooth coordination across various teams.
· Manage invoicing, job control, and purchasing via our computer-based system.
· Extract and analyse data from internal systems, preparing and verifying reports in various formats.
· Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail across all tasks.
· Assist senior management by adding a professional touch to documents and correspondence.
· Proactively contribute to the improvement and development of the business.
Key Requirements:
· Previous experience in an office environment, with an understanding of administrative systems is preferred.
· Competency in invoicing, job control, data entry, and purchasing systems (experience with computer-based office management tools is a plus).
· Strong telephone etiquette and customer interaction skills.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
· High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all administrative functions.
· Well-presented with the ability to build rapport easily with both staff and clientele.
· Proactive attitude, with a willingness to suggest and implement improvements for business development.
· A positive, team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative in independent tasks.
