About the role

The People and Culture Business Partner reports to the General Manager People and Culture and provides support, coaching, and training and operational generalist HR expertise to managers and employees. The role provides for support with investigations for grievances, disciplinary, conflict resolution, conduct change processes, involvement and opportunity to lead People Projects, provides functions of recruitment, onboarding and offboarding. The HRIS used is ELMO which we are looking for someone systems minded and a superstar in creating efficiency,

The role requires someone with seasoned knowledge of Fair Work, legislation and preferably have an ability to interpret the SCHADS Award and an understanding of disability services.

The role does travel to hub locations in the Western Suburbs as needed though is based in Derrimut Head Office. There is some flexibility to work from home for a small portion of the week after a settling in period. Free parking on site.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Relevant HR or related degree or Diploma
• Experience of at least 5 years in a related HR role and strong business partnering people skills.
• Expertise in Recruitment, Onboarding, HRIS systems (ELMO preferred), Grievance and Performance Management.
• Excellent communication (verbal and business writing skills) and strong interpersonal skills and ability build trusted relationships
• Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
• Clear Police Check
• NDIS check
