Area Manager – Multi-Site Hospitality/Retail Operations

Hill McGlynn are partnering with a fast-growing national hospitality business to appoint an Area Manager. This is a senior leadership role overseeing a portfolio of restaurants across Victoria, where you’ll drive performance, coach managers, and ensure every site delivers a consistently great customer experience.

What you’ll be doing:

• Coaching and developing Restaurant Managers to run high-performing teams
• Ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites (food quality, service, compliance, and safety)
• Driving revenue, profitability, and cost control across your region
• Leading new restaurant openings and embedding strong culture from day one
• Using performance data to create and deliver action plans that hit targets

What we’re looking for:

• Strong multi-site operations management experience (hospitality, food retail, or QSR background ideal)
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and build high-performing teams
• Commercially sharp – able to manage budgets, labour, and costs effectively
• Resilient, hands-on, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed
• A natural communicator with energy and presence
