About the role

Nesuto Hotels & Apartment Hotels is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company's presence in Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

What you'll be doing

Proactively research and identify new prospects for market segments including but not limited to Corporate, Government and Groups

Business development of new accounts from all market segments

Maximise opportunities within the competitor set and drive sales activity to achieve and exceed targets

Build, develop and maintain relationships with our current client base

Work with Sales and other operational departments to achieve excellence in customer service and repeat business from managed accounts.

What we require

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role within the hospitality industry

Proven track record of successfully securing new business and achieving sales targets

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse complex data to inform decision-making

Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand market and its key players

Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field

Experience working with Cvent and Agency 360+ is desirable
