About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Select Events Group as the National Fleet Manager. Overseeing the company's fleet of vehicles across Australia, you will play a key strategic role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of this critical asset. As a full-time position based in Regents Park, NSW, you will be responsible for optimising the performance, safety and compliance of the fleet.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing fleet management policies and procedures to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies

Overseeing vehicle procurement, registration, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, cleanliness and disposal to maximise the fleet's lifecycle and utilisation

Analysing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions

Ensuring the fleet meets all relevant legal, regulatory and safety requirements

Collaborating cross-functionally to align fleet management with the overall business strategy

Managing and developing a team of fleet coordinators to deliver exceptional service

Submitting and overseeing insurance claims

Allocating infringement notices in a timely manner

What we're looking for

Significant experience (3+ years) in a fleet management role, preferably within the transport or logistics industries

Strong understanding of fleet management best practices, including fleet optimisation, procurement, and maintenance

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements

Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
