Our client is a leading provider of vehicle parts, accessories, and services in the Asia-Pacific region. The organisation is undergoing a digital transformation, shifting towards a digital-first strategy.
Our client is an ASX-listed organization with a significant market presence and have a diverse range of businesses encompassing trade, wholesale, and retail segments, serving a wide customer base.
You will be a valued member of an emerging team within their organization, contributing to strategic brand decisions and executing various brand-building and tactical initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness and engagement among their staff, customers, and end-users.
The eCommerce Web Coordinator is a key role responsible for supporting trading and optimising eCommerce systems. This role involves managing product content, working closely with internal stakeholders, and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and performance of online product listings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Content Management: Ensure all product listings are accurate, engaging, and optimised for search and conversion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the merchandise and category teams to drive product enrichment, catalogue management, and supplier relationships.
- Website & Marketplace Optimisation: Enhance product visibility, maintain product fitment data, and support onboarding of new SKUs.
- Process Improvement: Develop and streamline processes to improve operational excellence and ensure efficient product content management.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key eCommerce KPIs, including conversion rates, sales, and engagement metrics.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Support customer care teams in resolving technical glitches and improving user experience.
Challenges:
- Shifting to a Digital-First Mindset: The company has a traditional brick-and-mortar approach, requiring a cultural shift.
- Integration Issues: Addressing technical challenges related to system architecture and data flow.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Ensuring seamless coordination between merchandise and eCommerce teams.
- Product Data Management: Maintaining accuracy and scalability of product listings across multiple platforms.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Growth: Increase digital revenue and retail share.
- System & Process Efficiency: Enhance workflow and reduce time-to-market for new products.
- Product Onboarding: Improve speed and accuracy of listing 22K+ products.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in an eCommerce trading role.
- SAP Commerce Cloud experience preferred; Magento considered, Shopify not as relevant due to the enterprise systems currently used
- Leadership: Ability to manage offshore teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven success in eCommerce and product management.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel (pivot tables), Google Analytics experience preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Automotive background is a plus but not essential.
