Position Overview:
The Content Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in executing our content and email marketing strategies. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, creative, and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for producing engaging email campaigns to our customer audience and parents, using some of your own thoughts, some of our team’s thoughts and some great existing thoughts that are relevant for our audience. The role also includes blog content creation and optimisation (we can teach you about optimisation), and collaborating with the marketing team to amplify our message across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Marketing:
Produce and manage fortnightly parent eDMs and monthly childcare industry eDMs.
Collaborate with the wider team to gather and prepare content for email campaigns.
Add content to email templates, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
Schedule and manage email campaigns, including partner content inclusions.
Organising and working with our internal team to pull together content for the eDM creation
Content Creation:
Write 4-5 new blog articles per month based on keyword research and SEO best practices.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure blog content aligns with overall marketing goals.
SEO Optimisation:
Optimise 6-8 published blog articles per month to improve search engine rankings and performance (we can teach you this).
Social Media Collaboration:
Share new blog articles with the marketing team to create organic social media content.
Provide insights and recommendations for promoting blog content across social channels.
General marketing support and co-ordination!! This is the key. We have a small team that needs general support and a lot of reminding. This role will be the backbone of our team, so organisation is key!
Qualifications:
Not essential, but ideal: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a marketing or content-focused role.
Not essential, but ideal: strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and email campaign management.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML is a plus.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The other stuff:
We are based in Hawthorn, Victoria
We work 2 days a week in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday)
5 weeks annual leave (pro rata for this role)
We have quarterly staff days
