MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION & EQUIPMENT CLEANING ASSISTANT

A position exists for an assistant at the Sleep and Lifestyle Clinic at our Phillip location. The clinic undertakes sleep studies and the management of clients with sleep apnea including the sale of products. The position involves working with our existing team in a high-paced back office role. Tasks include:

cleaning medical equipment (e.g. Sleep study kits, CPAP machines and masks);

a wide range of administrative support including data entry, scanning and electronically filing documents; and

stock ordering and management.

No specific experience in sleep medicine is necessary as training will be provided.

Hours: ~9.30am - 2.30pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. This is a general outline and is intended as a guide to a flexible arrangement for the right applicant.

Starting remuneration will depend on the level of experience.

Selection Criteria - Essential:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to prioritise and perform diverse range of tasks in a high-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and task prioritisation.

Solid communication and organisational skills.

Willingness to undertake ongoing education concerning cleaning procedures and a wide range of sleep medicine-specific products.

Some cleaning tasks require prolonged standing with regular breaks.

Competent with use of a personal computer.

Selection Criteria- Desirable (Non-Essential):

Experience in medical equipment cleaning.

Experience in medical administration.

Touch typing.

Experience in stock management.

Experience working with computerised patient management database(s) along with GMail, Excel, and Word.
