About Us

At The Surgery at Jerra, our friendly, compassionate, and efficient reception team plays a vital role in delivering excellent care to our community in Jerrabomberra. We are a busy, well-established general practice with:

8 GPs,

A paediatrician,

A dedicated nursing team, and

A supportive reception team.

Together, we are committed to providing outstanding patient care and professional support to our clinical team.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our reception team. You will report directly to the Reception Manager and work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth patient journey.

While previous medical reception experience is an advantage, it is not essential—what matters most is strong customer service skills, professionalism, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering excellent patient service at every stage of the patient journey

Supporting practice culture and teamwork

Managing administrative and billing duties accurately

Assisting with quality improvement activities

Using a range of software, including Microsoft Suite, HotDoc, Cubiko, Practice Hub, and Best Practice

Hours

The Surgery at Jerra is open Monday to Saturday, including Thursday evenings.

You must have availability across these times is required

Casual position available
