The Role

An opportunity exists for a full-time Field Service Technician, which will see the successful applicant playing a pivotal role in ensuring that their customers equipment is maintained, serviced and kept in excellent condition. Using cutting edge diagnostic tools and technology, you will provide fast, accurate and high-quality on-site troubleshooting and repair of equipment across the Sydney Metro area.

Key Responsibilities

· Attend client sites to diagnose and repair various forklift brands and models

· Attend client sites to conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance of equipment to prevent future issues.

· Working on engines, electrical, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and electronics.

· Utilise advanced diagnostic technology to identify and resolve equipment breakdowns / malfunctions.

· Communicate effectively to liaise with and understand customer needs

· Provide professional, service and expert advice regarding forklift care and operation.

· Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.

· Collaborate within the service team.

· Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations.

· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and tools.

About You:

· Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications (automotive or mechanical)

· Hands-on previous experience servicing and repairing LPG and Electric forklifts (Field work preferred).

· Familiarity with mobile manual handling plant equipment (Not essential).

· Well-developed mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

· Great customer service and clear communication skills.

· Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

· Current Forklift licence (An advantage).

· Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

· Safety-first attitude with a focus on quality and improvement.

· Willingness to travel to client sites across Sydney Metro area
