Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight

Supervise daily production activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety and food hygiene standards.

Monitor production schedules and output, ensuring targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Line Leaders to resolve operational issues quickly.

Dispatch & Logistics

Supervise dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes, reduce lead times, and maintain cost efficiency.

Ensure proper documentation and inventory control during dispatch processes.

Quality Assurance

Work closely with the QA team to maintain and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production and dispatch process.

Ensure all products meet M & J Chickens’ quality and safety standards as well as regulatory requirements.

Lead investigations and corrective actions for any quality non-conformance or customer complaints.

Administrative Approvals

Review and approve staff timesheets to ensure accuracy and alignment with rostering and payroll timelines.

Verify and approve supplier invoices in accordance with procurement and finance policies.

Liaise with accounts and HR departments to ensure smooth processing of related documentation.
