About the role

The Public Trustee offers independent, professional trustee and asset management services to the Western Australian community. These include Will and Enduring Power of Attorney drafting, deceased estate administration, and personal trustee and administration services.

The Legal Services Directorate is accountable for the provision of Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney drafting service. Additionally, the Directorate prepares applications for probate and provides advice or conducts litigation on matters on behalf of the Public Trustee.

The Managing Law Clerk supports the Principal Legal Officer and team in undertaking paralegal and administrative work, requiring management of matters that may be complex and/or sensitive in nature. Paralegal assistance extends to drafting legal documents for review by Legal Officers and providing assistance and advice to clients that is factual and legal by nature.
