Future Civil Group Pty Ltd is looking for an Operations Manager to join our growing team. We’re a medium-sized civil construction company delivering projects for councils and private clients, including footpath construction and maintenance, kerb & channel renewals, asphalt overlays, drainage upgrades, streetscapes and concrete works.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations across multiple sites
• Lead and mentor team leaders and site crews
• Set clear expectations and manage team performance
• Manage budgets, resources, equipment, and subcontractors • Schedule, monitor, and report on works
• Liaise with councils, engineers, and clients
• Drive efficiency and operational improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in civil construction management/operations (preferred)
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Must have: Clear, concise communication skills – on the phone, in writing, and face-to-face
• Must have: Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Comfortable working with both Windows and Apple systems (MacOS/iOS experience a bonus)
• A practical leadership style – able to balance office planning with regular site presence to support crews and ensure smooth delivery
• Current driver’s licence (plant tickets a plus)
