About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team at Dentavision Pty Ltd in Castle Hill, NSW. As an integral part of our organisation, you will play a key part in ensuring our financial processes run smoothly. There is an opportunity for the right candidate to transition to a hybrid work-from-home and office arrangement.
What you'll be doing
Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments and resolution of overdue balances.
Handled invoicing, statements, reminders, credit notes and refunds in line with company policies.
Investigated and resolved billing issues, discrepancies and credit claims.
Accurately processing and allocating payments in our accounting system.
Liaised with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve queries and maintain customer satisfaction.
Support month-end closing, AR reconciliations and reporting of discrepancies.
Maintained accurate records of collections activity and customer interactions.
Assist with ad hoc Accounts Payable duties as required
Ensured compliance with company procedures and safe work practices whilst completing assigned tasks
What we're looking for
Accounting qualifications or equivalent required
Previous experience in an Accounts Officer or similar finance role (payables & receivables experience essential).
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong attention to detail
