We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at our state of the art dental practice. Our aim is to create the best atmosphere for patients, and that starts with the best staff being employed in our friendly and supportive environment. About the position:

Permanent role - 34 hours a week.

Working days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am until 5:30pm.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienist.

Following infection control standards.

Provide a high level of care to our patients.

Professional verbal skills.

Able to adapt to new computer systems

Excellent communication with patients, staff and dentists

Approachable and friendly to help ease patient's fear or anxiety

Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

Display initiative to tasks within scope of responsibility

Attention to detail and organised, punctual

Positive and professional, but down to earth and friendly

Australian work rights required

Any of the following skills would be a benefit to your selection:

Cert 3 Dental Assistant

Local to the Ipswich/Springfield area

Previous dental assistant experience (at least 6 months)

Knowledge of sterilisation procedures
