Flagstone Dental Centre is looking for friendly, caring, reliable and positive dental assistant to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for experience Dental assistant with minimum 2-3 years experience, is eager to learn and build more positive experiences for themselves and their patients. The position will be casual 2-3 days a week progressing towards full time if required. The employee should be eager to work every alternate Saturday shift and able to cover other shifts during the week if needed.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clinicians during patient examinations and treatments

Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating patient information

Providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients

Performing occasional administrative duties such as scheduling appointments

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Dental Assisting (HLT35015 or equivalent) - essential requirement

Reliable, enthusiastic, positive and well presented

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting

Be able to help with implants, orthodontics and other high end procedures or happy to learn

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in speaking english and written english

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks

Proficiency in using EXACT or other dental software and computer systems

Experience with HICAPS for processing health fund claims and patient billing

A passion for providing high-quality patient care
