Photography & Admin Assistant (Casual– 10 hrs/week to start)

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Photography & Admin Assistant to join our small creative team. This is a varied role with plenty of room to grow, perfect for someone who wants to be part of a thriving photography business.

About the Role

You’ll be supporting the day-to-day running of our studio, helping with everything from client communications to social media content. No prior photography skills are required – we’ll provide full training. What we value most is the right attitude, initiative, and a genuine interest in being part of the business long-term.

Responsibilities

-Assisting with client bookings and correspondence

-Helping create and schedule social media content

-Supporting with marketing emails and general admin tasks

-Assisting in the studio and on location when required

-Potential to assist on wedding days and events (weekend availability required)

What We’re Looking For

-A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

-Interest in social media, photography, and creative industries

-Strong communication and organisational skills

-Flexibility to work a mix of at-home and in-studio hours, with some weekend work

-Willing to be vaccinated against whooping cough due to the nature of our newborn photography work

Ideally suited to someone recently out of high school or currently studying at university

-Casual role: 10 hours per week to start, with the opportunity for more hours as the role grows

-Mix of remote work and in-studio (Wellington Point)

-Weekend availability required for occasional weddings/events

-Full training provided – no technical photography experience necessary
