Based from their Geelong site and reporting into the CFO, you will act in a pivotal leadership role where you will shape the finance function - blending technical expertise with strategic influence.

About the Role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for driving financial excellence across the business, leading financial stewardship, governance, and scalability, while acting as a trusted partner to the senior leadership and finance function.
This role is a hands-on yet highly strategic role—ensuring compliance and control while delivering the insights that power growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting across multiple entities, delivering accurate and timely accounts, management reports, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain a robust financial control framework, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
• Design and implement finance systems and processes to support business growth, including automation and cash flow optimisation.
• Provide financial modelling, pricing analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with client-facing teams on projects such as M&A, restructuring, and due diligence.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, while building financial capability across the broader business.

About You:
To be considered for the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• CA/CPA qualification with at least 5+ years’ experience in financial control or senior accounting.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or scaling businesses (preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple entities and implement scalable finance processes.
• Proficiency with Xero and other financial systems.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
