About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our team and take ownership of our financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, effective budget & forecast management, compliance with financial regulations and provides strategic insights to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

You will prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, develop budgets and forecasts, and manage cash flow.

You will oversee year-end statutory reporting and audits, while providing financial insights to support executive decision-making. Conducting product cost modelling to assist pricing and profitability, supporting the CFO with strategic projects and system upgrades will also be part of your role.

You will manage the AR/AP and Payroll teams providing coaching, leadership, and mentorship to support team growth and success.

Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise processes—including advancements in technology and IT systems management.

Maintaining a safe working environment will be essential. As a key member of the management team, you will contribute to operational excellence, cost control, and productivity improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a medium to large, fast-paced commercial environment.

Proven experience in FMCG or food manufacturing.

CA/CPA qualification, with a background in manufacturing or a fast-moving, high-volume product-based environment.

Strong leadership skills, including experience managing medium to large teams.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive mindset focused on continuous process improvement.
