About the company
We are working with a scale up fintech that is looking for a skilled financial controller to join and shape their finance function and bring with them value add in the area of strategy, systems, performance data analysis.

Duties

• Set up the finance department (All being handled by the directors of the business at present)
• Ensure strong controls and work flows that allow the function to scale to meet business need as it drives forward in its scale up
• Putting a handle on budgeting forecasting and planning to help the business strategy and short term decision making of the directors
• Assist with system integrations across the wider business so that systems talk and allow ease of data sharing between functions
• Be the primary point of contact and decision maker in terms of banks, auditors and other key stakeholder relationships
• Optimise cash flow and working capital strategies
• Partner on potential M&A, investment, and growth opportunities-
• Be able and willing to grow out a strong team as per business demand

Skills & Experience

• Sellf starter, who looks at the blank canvas of a finance function as an enjoyable challenge
• Fintech experience or at the very least a keen interest, payments, financial wealth, crypto, forex
• CA or similar qualification
• Multi asset exposure advantageous
