The Riverina Eye Care Centre (Wagga Wagga) is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated individual with a flair for technology.

The role involves a wide range of Administrative tasks. You will learn to use and be proficient at the Medical software. An advanced level of skills of the MS Office suite will enable that transition.

The position has hours ranging around 20 - 30 hrs/week. Some flexibility may be required to provide cover for other staff.

Our normal operating hours are between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday. Finish early Friday!!

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant must be able to undertake reception duties from appointment scheduling to billing.

Must have strong and effective communication skills to be able to competently interact with patients of all age groups, team members and practice contacts. It is expected the applicant will have strong multi-tasking skills with attention to details.

Skills and experience:

Have a high level of computer literacy

Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

May have experience in using a Medical Software

Have a strong patient focus

Be self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive

Be able to work in a small team

Students undertaking Cert III in Medical Administration/ Business Administration are encouraged to apply.
