About the Role:

As a Leading Hand, you will assist in ensuring smooth operations and the timely delivery of all parcels. You will have demonstrated experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and display a strong attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator, liaising with delivery partners and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant delivery practices. This includes assisting with loadout, providing route support, and escalating issues when required.

Please note: The schedule for this role includes hours between 7:00am – 11:00am and 2:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday – Sunday.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

Must thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Previous experience working in a delivery depot or warehouse setting is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 25kgs and remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Manage the loadout process for drivers, including providing manifests and ensuring safe and proper processes are followed.

Provide support and advice to drivers as it relates to their routes and successful delivery.

Maintain the safety and security of premises and all people on-site.

Develop and maintain solid working relationships with Delivery Contractors and Drivers.

Respond to urgent matters and escalate as required.

Always maintain a professional & high-quality service-oriented environment.
