About us
We are a boutique law firm providing legal advice and services in matters of, but not limited to, Wills & Estate Planning, Deceased Estates, Commercial Contracts, Conveyancing and Family Inheritance Act Claims seeking an experienced Legal / Administration Assistant with practical experience. The role is full time, or minimum four days per week (Monday to Thursday). IMMEDIATE START.
Salary negotiable dependent upon experience and skill level.
Qualifications & experience
Preferably 3 years minimum experience as a Legal Assistant or Administration Assistant
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Advanced touch typing skills
Advanced document formatting skills (Word and Excel) with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Able to draft/compose and format correspondence as appropriate to a high professional standard
Desirable experience creating and formatting Court, Landgate, PEXA, OSR, and Leasing documentation to a high professional standard
Tasks & responsibilities
Answering inbound calls
Diary and email management
Preparation of correspondence
Transcribe correspondence and documents from dictaphone / audio recording
Document preparation including, but not limited to, Court documentation, conveyancing documentation and estate planning documentation (Wills etc)
File management
Liaising with clients
General office administration tasks - filing etc
Provide annual leave and personal leave cover as and when required (with advance notice)
