As our Events Operations Supervisor you will report to the Events Manager. This is a 3-month contract role where you will be responsible for the hands-on operations of all events held in our dedicated events spaces during our busy event period. You will handle all customer related inquiries and have impeccable customer service skills with great attention to detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring events are handled with a superior level of service
Hands on focus for all functions and events with operational staff
Support the event team during the lead up and on the day
Supervise an energetic team ensuring that standards are consistently maintained and improved
Building exceptional relationships with clients and their guests throughout the duration of the events.
Rostering, supervising & leading setup & pack down activity.
Our ideal candidate will have previous hands-on operational experience. You will be highly organised, flexible and be known for your ability to provide exceptional service at all times.
You must be able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and possess the ability and experience to support in the leading and developing a dedicated team of staff.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on operational experience in events.
Experience in either events or hospitality industry is required.
A minimum of 1+ years of team supervision experience is essential.
Salary for this event season contract role is $70,000(pro rata).
A current Victorian RSA and WWC certificate is essential.
