About the role
We're looking for a Collections Officer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll take ownership of your debtor portfolio, ensuring accounts are managed effectively and payments are received on time, while always delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and monitoring overdue accounts
• Negotiating payment terms and arrangements
• Account reconciliations and payment allocations
• Preparing monthly reports with insights on overdue accounts
• Working closely with branch teams and customers to resolve queries
  
  

About you

• You are highly motivated, a strong team player and understand the importance of excellence in customer service especially in debt collection.
• Previous experience in the Collections field 3+ years
• Superior negotiation and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast paced complex environment
• Clear ability to escalate decisively, clearly and with confidence
