Our client
Well-established and growing Australian organisation located in the Ingleburn area involved in the manufacture of a product for commercial and residential use.

The role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, in a credit team of four.

The responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

• managing a ledger of approximately 500 business customers.
• processing credit applications, performing credit checks and assessing risk.
• downloading banking data and receipting payments.
• maintaining customer records.
• monitoring accounts, placing or releasing credit holds as needed.
• making collection calls, sending follow-up emails, and negotiating payment plans.
• responding to credit queries via phone and shared inbox.
• working with internal teams to resolve overdues, blocked orders and billing issues.

The candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you will:

• have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Credit Officer.
• be system savvy and ideally have experience working with SAP or similar large ERP.
• have experience performing credit checks and risk assessments.
• have great communication and people skills.
