Job Opportunity: Operations & Safety ManagerPosition Overview We are looking for an experienced Operations & Safety Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations and ensure high safety standards across the business. This is a hands-on role, split 50% on-site and 50% office-based, working closely with project and maintenance teams to keep workflows running smoothly while driving a strong safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, resourcing, and daily coordination across multiple teams.
• Support site managers, supervisors, and trades staff to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
• Streamline processes and find practical solutions to operational challenges.

• Lead all safety processes including toolbox talks, inductions, and on-site checks.
• Carry out risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS requirements.

• Provide clear direction and leadership to staff at all levels.
• Mentor supervisors and tradespeople, leading by example.
• Build strong communication across teams to keep operations running smoothly.

• Monitor operational performance and safety metrics.
• Identify areas for improvement and put practical solutions in place.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in operations management, safety, or site supervision within construction, plumbing, or similar trades.
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and day-to-day operations effectively.
• Practical knowledge of WHS requirements and how to apply them on-site.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on leader who can balance both on-site presence and office responsibilities.
