About the role

The Australian Seed Federation (ASF) is seeking a Membership Services Officer to join our team in Canberra on a permanent part-time basis. This role supports the smooth day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring our members receive excellent service while keeping our internal processes and communications running efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach, who enjoys working in a small, collaborative team environment.

What you'll be doing

Act as the first point of contact for member enquiries.

Manage the membership database, applications and renewals.

Provide administrative support to the CEO and broader team.

Assist with the organisation of meetings, travel and events.

Prepare agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.

Support communications, including website updates, newsletters and social media.

Liaise with suppliers (e.g. designers, printers) as required.

What we're looking for

Experience in administration or membership services.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing records and processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems an advantage.

A team player with initiative, flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Interest in agriculture, environment or related sectors would be highly regarded.
