The opportunity
Join Hume and Iser Mitre 10 as a Indoor Garden Sales Assistant in our Bendigo store, VIC 3550 store. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their gardening needs, including garden hand & power tools, garden irrigation, plant fertilisers and plant care.
Key responsibilities
Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and making product recommendation.
Assist with merchandising and display of gardening products
Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience
Attend product training sessions to stay informed about new and existing gardening items
What we're looking for
Passion for gardening and a desire to share your knowledge with customers
Extensive knowledge in gardening tools & irrigation and fertilisers and where to use them
Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide friendly, helpful assistance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
