About the role

Keep On Tiling and Bathrooms is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our team in Boronia, VIC on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection and sales, and ensuring our store operates efficiently.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner

Listening to customer needs and offering product recommendations to help them find the perfect solution

Completing sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing store environment

Restocking shelves and ensuring product availability

Providing excellent post-sales customer support

Contributing to the overall success of the store through active participation in team meetings and initiatives

What we're looking for

Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Enthusiasm for the retail industry and a keen interest in home improvement products

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the retail or home improvement sectors

Minimum 6 months of sales or customer service experience (retail or home improvement preferred)

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Ability to lift up to 15kg.

Eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

Basic computer literacy and ability to operate point-of-sale systems
