You’ll represent a proven line-up of heavy equipment including excavators, compact track loaders, attachments. With new products and machinery on the horizon, your portfolio will continue to grow with the business.

The Position Overview & Objectives

The position has one objective, and that is to represent the company and its equipment to users within the construction, civil and earthmoving markets. A high-level business development position that’ll get you in front of some of the biggest names in the game. Day-to-day, you’ll be finding, opening and developing new sales opportunities across a territory from Brisbane River south to Ballina. This’s a very-active territory with significant demand, existing customers, live leads, and huge opportunity.

Role Overview:

Developing new and existing sales opportunities with a Direct-to-Market approach across the region.

Building opportunities within civil construction, agriculture, construction, civil, government and more.

Leveraging a CRM with existing customers and live leads.

Travelling to sites, conducting sales meetings and attending events.

Working with company directives, strategies and growth objectives.

Collaborating closely with colleagues to expand new markets.

Candidate Requirements

Sales Rep experience selling mobile earthmoving, construction equipment, or other related equipment.

Exposure within civil, mining, underground, government, ports or similar markets within the Queensland/NSW border region.

Demonstrated success in finding, developing and closing sales opportunities.

Relationships within civil, mining, underground, and related markets highly regarded.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

A proven sales history with a hunger for sales.

Long-term relationship growth and management skills.

Willingness to travel within the state when/if required.

Drivers licence, Australian Citizen or permanent resident ESSENTIAL.

Remuneration Package on Offer

This is the opportunity to join a dynamic business where you’ll get to work with a motivated team that likes to get things done. In relation to remuneration, a starting base/salary of $100,000 per year, plus:

Commissions: New Equipment Sales: 1% of net sale value, used Equipment Sales: 2–5% depending on margin, age, time factors. Uncapped commissions — the more you sell, the more you earn.

Tools of trade: Ute, phone, laptop etc.
