Analytical Chemistry Unit provides testing for newborn screening services, therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology, trace element analysis, metabolic disease profiling, steroid hormones, vitamins, porphyrins and biogenic amine analysis. The Unit utilises state-of-the-art technology including tandem mass spectrometry, HPLC, UPLC, GCMS, QTof and ICP-MS. In this role you will be expected to display and develop high level analytical, scientific and clinical interpretive skills in all aspects of Chemical Pathology testing.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Knowledge of chemical pathology testing and its role in clinical medicine.
- Knowledge, skills, and expertise in analytical methods relevant to chemical pathology.
- Knowledge, skills and expertise in the validation and clinical interpretation of results in chemical pathology.
- Knowledge of pathology testing and its diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring role in disease and health
The successful applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science degree, or an equivalent
