We’re a Managed Service Provider supporting multiple clients across different industries, and we’re looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our Sydney team. This is a hands-on role, you’ll be designing, building, and supporting real IT environments, not just answering helpdesk tickets.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Spinning up VMs in Azure or Hyper-V and making sure they actually run when users need them

Managing Windows Server environments (2019/2022/2025) and making Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and certificate services work across multiple sites

Handling Microsoft 365 environments: Intune, Exchange, Azure AD / Hybrid AD, and making sure MFA, security, and compliance are actually enforced

Designing and maintaining enterprise networking: LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls (Fortigate, Cisco), and Radius/MFA solutions

Leading infrastructure projects from start to finish—requirements, design, deployment, and support

Troubleshooting tricky issues that no one else can figure out, then documenting what you did so the team knows next time

Mentoring junior engineers and sharing the practical know-how that only comes from doing the work

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Proven experience in system engineering within an MSP or enterprise IT environment

Hands-on with Windows Server and Windows 10/11

Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, multi-site setups

Microsoft 365: Intune, Exchange, Azure AD / Hybrid AD

Virtualization: Hyper-V or VMware, plus Azure Cloud

Networking & security: LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing, switching

Experience troubleshooting Fortinet products, HPE switches, and Cisco gear

Troubleshoot complex issues proactively

Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients

Manage multiple projects simultaneously

NICE TO HAVE…

Experience backup solutions like ShadowProtect

Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and practices
