About the role

Fior Events' is seeking a passionate and experienced Venue Manager to join our dynamic team in our venue in Parkville.

As a casual Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our premier event space, ensuring seamless execution of functions and outstanding customer service.

Our weddings and events predominantly take place on the evenings of Thursday to Sunday.

What you'll be doing

Manage the venue's operations on event day

Liaise with the Venue Operations Manager understand clients' event requirements and ensure their needs are met on the day

Coordinate with Team Leaders and Floor teams to execute successful functions

Ensure vendor compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Maintain the venue's presentation and cleanliness to the highest standards

Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and guests

Lead and motivate a team of venue staff

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar venue management or hospitality management role

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure

Strong leadership and people management skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences

Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded
