Operating under a respected global parent company, they maintain a strong national footprint. The Oakey site is a key export facility, handling over 80,000 tonnes annually of commodities. A supportive, tight-knit team make this a prime opportunity for a Site Manager seeking ownership, impact, and stability in their next role.

The Role

As a Site Manager, you’ll take full ownership of site logistics, storage, and handling at the Oakey facility. With a strong hands-on component, the role spans day-to-day coordination, compliance, equipment oversight, and stakeholder liaison. You’ll work closely with logistics and trading teams in Brisbane to ensure smooth containerised grain exports.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise daily operations across the Oakey site
• Oversee packing, dispatch, inventory and site compliance activities
• Ensure the smooth running and maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with off-site logistics and trading stakeholders
• Manage budgeting, cost allocation, and reporting tasks
• Drive process improvements and innovations to enhance efficiency

About You
You're a practical leader with a strong background in grain or commodity site operations. You excel in coordinating people, machinery, and logistics with a safety-first approach and a mindset for improvement. To be considered for this role, it’s important you can address the following:

• Proven experience in grain handling, quality, storage, or dispatch
• Strong people management and team leadership skills
• Willingness to lead from the front and get hands-on when needed
• Relevant tickets (e.g. forklift, confined space) highly regarded
• Open Driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
