The Role
As the Grain Site Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a large grain handling facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Reporting to the General Manager of Grain Storage and Transport, your duties will include (but not be limited to):​

• Supervise site operations including grain receival, storage, and out-loading
• Coordinate daily pre-starts, task delegation, and monitor team performance
• Plan and manage machinery use, maintenance priorities, and safety compliance
• Facilitate training and onboarding of new team members
• Support strategic planning for harvest and off-season activities
• Maintain accurate operational, safety, and maintenance records
• Operate machinery (loaders, forklifts, tractors) as required

About You
You are a capable leader with strong operational knowledge and a passion for agricultural logistics. You thrive in collaborative, hands-on environments and bring a proactive, safety-first approach to all aspects of site operations.

• Proven experience supervising or managing grain receival operations
• Sound understanding of grain handling/logistics or related industries
• Competence in machinery operation and basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong communication skills with a focus on team cohesion and accountability
• Licences or willingness to obtain: HR, Forklift, Front-End Loader, First Aid
