Esper Group is a family-run hospitality powerhouse operating three distinctive venues: Rosie Campbells, Mille Vini, and the newly opened high-end Italian restaurant Rovollo at Martin Place. Based in the heart of Sydney's dining scene, we're expanding our management team to support our rapid growth and ambitious vision for Sydney's hospitality landscape.
About the Role
This is a high-impact hybrid position combining Group Marketing leadership with Events management across our portfolio. You'll work directly with our Director on strategy and execution, driving growth across all three venues while maintaining each brand's unique identity. This autonomous role offers the perfect blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for the group and individual venue positioning
Plan and oversee integrated campaigns driving brand awareness, reservations, and customer engagement
Evolve branding for each venue as they mature through their lifecycle
Manage organic and paid content strategies across all digital channels
Create compelling content for digital platforms aligned with brand guidelines, including directing photo/video production
Oversee social media management and community building
Execute targeted EDM campaigns and promotional strategies
Analyze performance metrics, social engagement, campaign ROI, and provide actionable insights
Events & Business Development
Manage high-value group bookings and private events across all venues
Respond to function and event inquiries with professionalism and urgency
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with corporate and private clients
Coordinate pre-event briefings and operational handovers
Ensure flawless execution of promotional events and guest experiences
Plan and execute company events from concept to delivery
Build and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and event planners
What You Bring
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong digital marketing expertise across social platforms and paid channels
Content creation abilities (photography/videography skills highly valued)
Sharp design eye and brand sensibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Outstanding organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects
Creative, proactive mindset with entrepreneurial spirit
Hospitality industry experience preferred
3+ years marketing experience, preferably in hospitality or lifestyle brand
