We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Construction Labourer to join our team and support the smooth running of our residential construction sites. This role is responsible for site opening and closing, managing deliveries, assisting trades with basic tasks, and ensuring our sites remain safe, clean, and organised at all times.

The position is ideal for someone with a proactive attitude who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining professional work environments, and can manage multiple sites effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Open and close construction sites daily.

Accept, log, and coordinate material deliveries across multiple sites.

Assist tradespeople with minor tasks (no complex or technical work required).

Install temporary safety handrails, fencing, and surface protection as needed.

Maintain site cleanliness, waste disposal, and recycling procedures.

Ensure surface protection and safety measures are maintained throughout the project.

Set up and maintain signage, barriers, and general site presentation standards.

Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing temporary lighting or signage.

Secure tools, materials, and equipment at the end of each day.

Carry out regular site checks to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

Support site managers with ad hoc tasks to keep projects on schedule.

Requirements

Basic experience using hand tools (no trade qualifications required).

A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

White Card (preferred but not essential).

Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proactive, reliable, and able to work unsupervised at times.

Strong work ethic and a commitment to site safety.
