Mextrade is Australia’s leading importer of family-owned, additive-free, craft Mexican spirits. We work directly with independent producers in Mexico, telling their stories and bringing their heritage to life here in Australia for more than 10 years. Our portfolio includes world-renowned brands like Arette, G4, Cascahuin, Siete Leguas, Nuestra Soledad, Bozal, and more.
We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven sales representative to take charge of New South Wales and grow our presence in Sydney’s best bars, restaurants, and retailers. This is more than a sales role — it’s about sharing culture, educating the industry, and helping venues elevate their agave game.
What you’ll be doing
Creating and building strong, genuine relationships with bars, restaurants, and retail accounts.
Hosting tastings, trainings, and events to bring our brands to life.
Driving sales, meeting targets, and growing your territory.
Acting as a brand ambassador — telling the stories of our producers and their craft.
Staying on top of trends and spotting opportunities in the agave category.
We’re looking for someone who is
Energetic, self-motivated, and confident — you love meeting people and making connections.
Strong sales, marketing, and client relationship skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experienced in hospitality, or liquor (preferred).
Knowledgeable (or eager to learn) about agave spirits — tequila, mezcal, and beyond.
Organised, proactive, and goal-oriented.
Able to work independently but also collaborate with our national team.
Must be 21 years or older (as per industry regulations)
Based in NSW, with Australian residency and valid Driver’s Licence
(Spanish speakers and those with Latin American heritage are encouraged to apply — your cultural insight is a big plus!)
Perks & Benefits
Base salary $65,000 + Super + uncapped commissions & bonuses.
Total earning potential up to $117,500+ p.a. if you hit your targets.
Car allowance or company vehicle (if applicable).
