Remuneration: $69,226 to $72,887 (pro-rata) + superannuation and leave loading

Are you passionate about libraries and community engagement? Campaspe Shire Council is seeking a proactive and community-minded Branch Librarian to lead the delivery of public library services and resources for residents and visitors. Based primarily at the Rushworth Library, this role plays a vital part in fostering learning, literacy, and connection across the region.

As Branch Librarian, you will manage day-to-day operations, maintain library collections, and facilitate programs that support education and inclusion. From coordinating outreach services and early literacy programs to supervising staff and ensuring smooth circulation of materials, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

To be successful for this role you will require:

• Certificate III in Library and Information Services or relevant experience working in a library environment.
• Proven commitment to delivering high-quality customer experiences.
• Knowledge and expertise in using a Library Management System.
• Proven ability to contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Valid National Police Check.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
