Indianic Group is a significant, privately owned, and leading Marine Services, Construction, and Defence service provider based in Western Australia. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HSEQ Advisor to join our growing marine and engineering services business on a full-time basis. The salary range is circa $100,000 per annum; salary is negotiable depending on experience. This is a key on-site role based in Henderson, with direct responsibility delivering our accredited HSEQ program and supporting day-to-day Diving and Construction operations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management: Ensures maintenance of our integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) through delivery of internal audits, identifying non-conformances, and driving corrective actions.
Health Safety and Environment: Promoting a safety-first culture and driving compliance with workplace safety legislation and company policies. Leading and reporting on incident investigations and recommending improvements. Conducting field inspections and audits to support HSE compliance. Guiding and mentoring managers and employees in contemporary safety practices as well as supporting development and implementation of risk assessment tools and procedures. Finally, you will champion environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
Document Control: Maintaining and managing HSEQ-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility whilst overseeing version control and ensure all records are audit-ready and compliant with relevant legislation and company policies
Training and Development: Coordinating HSEQ training sessions for employees. Ensure all personnel certifications and training records are up to date.
Essential Criteria
Cert IV or Higher in Work Health, and Safety
Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001
Sound knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation, regulations, and standards.
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and collaborative approach.
Australian citizen or valid PR/work rights
Desirable Criteria
ICAM or equivalent certification in incident investigation
Proven experience in an HSEQ Advisory role within the construction/commercial diving industry.
Defence Veterans and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply
