We’re looking for a motivated Health & Safety Advisor & Administration Officer to join our team at New Murchison Gold Ltd. This dual role blends hands on, field based HSEC leadership with essential administrative coordination, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working closely with a team that values safety, collaboration, and growth.

As part of our Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our people safe, our operations compliant, and our safety culture strong. You’ll be supported by our HSEC Coordinator and leadership team, with access to training and mentoring.

Your duties will include

Conducting field inspections, hazard reporting, and critical control verifications.

Leading and supporting ICAM investigations and tracking corrective actions.

Delivering engaging safety inductions and environmental inspections.

Monitoring compliance with permits, principal hazard controls, and emergency preparedness.

Collaborating with supervisors and contractors to maintain a proactive safety culture.

Maintaining accurate HSE records, registers, and training logs.

Assisting with audits, compliance checks, and contractor onboarding.

Qualifications

Certificate IV in WHS (or higher) – Diploma highly regarded.

ICAM and Internal Auditor qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

Experience in site-based HSEC roles, ideally within mining or heavy industry.

Strong working knowledge of WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022.

Strong written, verbal, and coaching skills – able to communicate with all levels.

WA Manual C-Class Driver’s Licence.
