About the role
We are looking for a friendly and organised Administrative Officer to join our Medical Imaging team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional reception, registration, and appointment services, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and visitors. You’ll also play an important part in coordinating inpatient workflows, managing radiological digital archives, and accurately entering patient data across multiple systems, including EMR/Sunrise. Your attention to detail will help maintain the integrity of our financial database, supporting the accurate processing of examination and procedure costs.
As part of a supportive and dynamic team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally through ongoing training and by sharing your knowledge with colleagues. Strong reception and typing skills are essential, along with the ability to assist a diverse range of clients, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. About You
You are a proactive and energetic professional with strong clerical skills and a keen ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Your ability to stay organised and prioritise tasks in a busy healthcare environment ensures smooth daily operations. You thrive both independently and as part of a team, always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Excellent keyboard and PC skills with strong written and verbal communication
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
Experience in healthcare settings with sound knowledge of medical terminology
Positive interpersonal skills to engage with patients, visitors and multidisciplinary staff
