About the role
Ameya Care Support Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Services Manager to oversee our team in Mareeba, Atherton Tablelands, Innisfail and Cassowary Coast, QLD.
As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of high-quality community support services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the support services team
Reinforce policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service quality
Liaise with participants, their representatives, and external stakeholders to understand and address their needs
Manage staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and roster availability
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with the broader management team to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation
What we're looking for
Significant experience in a management role within the community services or social care sector in particular NDIS
Strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements in the community services industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as social work, community services, or business management
Minimum 3-5 years of management experience within the community services or social care sector
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one
Current Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel between service locations
Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted right to work in Australia
