The Opportunity

As a key member of the Leadership Team, you will oversee and strategically manage our home support services and lifestyle programs. This senior leadership role is pivotal to driving growth, embedding innovation, and leading organisational transformation to meet changing client and industry needs.

You will bring a strong change management skillset to support Finncare’s evolution — ensuring smooth transitions, staff engagement, and sustainable outcomes during times of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across home support and lifestyle services

Lead and mentor a dedicated team, including the Lifestyle Coordinator and Home Support staff

Champion and lead change initiatives across the department, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and values

Drive financial viability, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance

Embed continuous improvement and innovation in all service delivery

Foster a culture of person-centred care and client wellbeing

Build strategic partnerships and strengthen stakeholder engagement

About You

You are a driven and experienced leader in aged care or community services, with a deep understanding of the sector and a proven track record in leading teams through organisational change. You thrive in complex environments, balancing strategic direction with people-centred leadership.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in aged care, health, social sciences, or management

5+ years’ leadership experience in aged care, community, or health sectors

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing organisational change and service transformation

Strong financial management, compliance, and quality governance expertise

Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Current QLD Driver’s License, National Police Check, and First Aid Certificate

Desirable:

Experience in strategic program development and innovation for lifestyle and wellbeing services

Proficiency in the Finnish language
