The Shire of Ashburton is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Strategic Waste to lead the development and delivery of innovative waste management strategies across the region. As the Manager Strategic Waste, you'll be responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of the Shire's waste services, with a focus on the Pilbara Regional Waste Management Facility (PRWMF). You'll lead a team delivering essential services across landfill, transfer stations, and kerbside collection, while driving sustainability, compliance, and innovation.

The PRWMF is the only Class IV facility North of the Perth metropolitan area, making this a unique opportunity to manage a regionally significant operation.
